Financial Reporting Senior Officer

Job Description and Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements.
  2. Conduct a review on financial statements received from all business units.
  3. Prepare reports for senior management.
  4. Work with external auditors including providing supporting documentation related to the annual audit.
  5. Conduct research on technical accounting and regulatory reporting matters.
  6. Maintain an understanding of current and pending accounting and reporting issues through education and review of IFRS.
  7. Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards.
  8. Prepare technical accounting memos and position papers.
  9. Follow up on internal audit reports.
  10. Take part in other special projects.

Requirements:

  • BA in Accounting or Finance. 
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in public accounting with an emphasis on consolidating financial statements.
  • CPA track desired.
